We design rooms that feel like the best version of the people who live in them.

Our Philosophy

We believe the most considered spaces are the ones most completely inhabited. Every room we design begins with one question: what does this person actually need from the life they actually live?

The Studio

Your designers. One standard. No exceptions.

Every Maison Calloway project is led by Elise from first conversation through final install. We take on a limited number of projects each year — enough to give each one the attention it deserves.

The Designer

Atlanta-born, Paris-trained, New York-refined. Elise spent a decade shaping interiors for clients across Manhattan before returning home to found Maison Calloway in 2015.

Her practice is built on a single conviction: that a room should feel like the best version of the person who lives in it — never like a magazine, never like a showroom.

The Story

Every studio has a story. Ours begins with a conviction about how people should live.

We didn't set out to build a large firm. We set out to do the work well — and to keep doing it that way.

Our Approach

Atlanta-born. Paris-trained. New York-refined. Home for good.

Elise founded Maison Calloway after a decade in Manhattan because she wanted to build something that meant something, in the city that made her. Every project is led personally — from first conversation through final install. We take on a limited number of projects each year, because that's the only way to do it right.

Recognition

The work speaks. The press has noticed.
